Idol group Dong Bang Shin Ki’s member Jae Joong and BoA, both from the same company SM Entertainment, have recently seen as too close and hence there are sparks between each other. However, Jae Joong denies that both of them are in a girlfriend/boyfriend relationship with each other, he just stated that they’re both really close and know each other really well, and only seek advice on love relationships from each other.

Recently, DBSK was on MBC’s ‘Come To Play’ to promote their new album ‘Spell – Mirotic’. All 5 members played a game in which they had to sms a celebrity friend who they don’t usually contact often. Everyone sent an sms to the person of their choice on the spot, choosing that certain person because he/she had an important place in their heart. It was unexpected that Jae Joong chose to send his sms to BoA, catching the attention of many people.

Jae Joong sent the sms to BoA who was in America, and she replied saying ‘I can’t talk.. I value you alot’. The other members beside him started to stir up something, causing a hastened explanation from Jae Joong, stating that he and BoA are not lovers, merely best friends. They would share their thoughts with one another on relationships frequently.

JunTwins (and Yunho,Yoochun) on MBC’s Introducing Stars’ Friends

Junsu of the popular group TVXQ is helping his older twin to look for a girlfriend. Junsu and his twin brother filmed MBC’s Introducing Stars’ Friends on the 29th (of October). Junsu and his twin brother have a very unique brotherly love, spending most of their time when they’re both in Korea together, and even when Junsu is overseas they constantly keep in touch via calls.

The staff on the show commented that during the day of filming Junsu was fussing over his brother’s clothes and hair and styling and not in a deliberate manner (TN: I think it means that he was just doing it subconsciously?), and that this showed them the dependency and emotional attachment the twin brothers have for each other.

That day Junsu, as well as Yoochun and Yunho tried their best at matchmaking on behalf of their friends. (Something about female actors bringing their friends too). The show will be aired sometime in mid-Nov.

Leeteuk, the “Love professional MC”

As previous Reported, Super Junior Leader and former MC of Love Fighter Leeteuk will be returning as a host of A innocent bachelor while dating.

Since this will me Leeteuk’s second time hosting a love advice show. his fans have given him the nickname “love professional MC.”

Leeteuk expressed he is really happy with his nickname and will stand by it. He also thanked his fans for all the cheers they have made and promised to work hard on the new show.

Wonder Girls to Hold a Solo Concert

Korea’s hottest female group Wonder Girls will hold their first solo concert. This will be the first solo concert given by a female idol group since 2000.

An official with JYP Entertainment announced that the five-member group will perform in a 5,000-seat venue sometime in February 2009. More details on the date and venue will be released later.

The last female idol group to hold a solo concert was S.E.S. in 2000. There had been a number of female idol groups since S.E.S. and Fin.KL, but none had attempted to hold a solo concert, because they lacked the ticket-drawing power compared to male groups.

However, Wonder Girls created a storm in the Korean music industry by releasing a hit after hit. Last year’s “Tell Me” was followed by this year’s “So Hot” and “Nobody,” which motivated Wonder Girls and JYP Entertainment to take a chance with a solo performance. They were further emboldened by their experience as a special guest in Park Jin-young’s concert in the U.S. earlier this year. The spokesperson for Wonder Girls said that the five girls are very excited about the opportunity and hard at work to prepare for the next year’s show.

Although I’m not a fan of “kiss and tell” members of Korea’s hottest boy-band, DBSK weren’t shy about sharing the details of their first kiss during yesterday’s episode of MBC’s “Come to Play.” And here are the details for those Cassies who are dying to know if their fantasies were true.

Who: Xiah

Where: Parking garage in basement

When: 100 day anniversary when he was 20

How: Xiah and his girlfriend were celebrating their 100 day anniversary (which was also their third date) and they kissed in front of their celebratory cake. According to other members, Xiah cried a lot after his first kiss because he was upset that he couldn’t be a better boyfriend due to his demanding schedules.

Who cries after their first kiss? Guys usually like to brag about kisses and other relationship related details.

Who: U-Know

When: Junior year of high school (or year two of Korean high school system)

How: U-Know had a hard time expressing his feelings to his girlfriend, but one day when she was upset and attempted to leave, he pulled her back and kissed her to let her know how much he loved her.

This explains why U-Know always has that serious look whenever he dances – he just can’t express himself.

Who: Hero

When: Sixth grade

Where: In front of his doorstep

How: One day in sixth grade, Hero was accompanied home by his classmate who was very athletic and strong and when they arrived at his doorstep, the brave girl said “Jaejoong, come over here” and planted a big kiss on his lips. Ever since that incident, Hero ignored her because he was too embarrassed.

The prettiest boy got owned by the strongest girl. Gotta love the irony of this situation.

Who: Max

How: He was cutting up fruits when his girlfriend came up to him and kissed him after she finished the dishes while they were on a trip with friends.

How unromantic. One smells like detergents while other is holding a knife smelling all fruity.

Who: Mickey

Where: Ski resort

How: He kissed his love interest at night when nobody was around and they officially started dating after Mickey’s surprise kiss.

It looks like Mickey only acquired the art of picking up girls during his stay in Virginia.

Wonder Girls – “We have the most confidence in SNSD’s Choreography

5 member girl group Wonder Girls have gathered interest in their declaration that they “have the most confidence in SNSD’s choreography”.

Wonder Girls shared this while recording the show “My Favorite” on MNet on the 20th.

During the recording, at a corner where unexpected questions are thrown at random to be answered quickly, the Wonder Girls members received a question asking “Which artist’s choreography are you the most confident in doing yourselves?” and they answered “SNSD.”

Wonder Girls said “We’ve actually practiced SNSD’s choreography for fun by ourselves before”, adding that they’ve followed along to SNSD’s first album title track “Girls’ Generation” before.

The Wonder Girls were the guests on the show following appearances by DBSK and Alex. DJed by Kim Shinyoung and VOS, “My Favorite” uses the radio format as a music program that allows stars to reveal their hidden feelings to their songs.

The third episode of MNet’s “My Favorite” starring the Wonder Girls will broadcast on the 27th at 11PM.

Jae Joong and Han Hyo Joo to love it up in new drama

Since our first coverage on Hero Jae Joong’s foray into leading actor territory, scripts have been finalized and passed out to the cast members. It was recently confirmed that “Iljimae” and “Spring Waltz’s” Han Hyo Joo will be stepping in for the female lead in “천국의 우편 배달부 (Heaven’s Postal Delivery Man)”.

From now till the commencement of shooting in early November, Jae Joong will have to juggle his “Mirotic” promotions as well as take on those lines. Han Hyo Joo has also received her script and is busy with preparations.

As well as confirmations on the male and female leads, more info’s been given on the production team of this telecinema project. While Lee Hyung Min (of “I’m Sorry I Love You” and “Snow Flower” fame) from the Korean end directs, famous Japanese screenwriter Eriko Kitagawa (credits include “Beautiful Life”, “Long Vacation” and “One Million Stars Falling From The Sky”) will do what she does best. Also, this Korean-Japanese project is said to make up 7 episodes of different stories, with Jae Joong andHyo Joo’s being the first. The telly version will last up to 60mins and the cinema version 120mins. Great way to rake in the dollars and keep Cassiopeians captivated.

News of this telecinema has been driving fans crazy. While you take in all this and await it’s official airing in May 2009 (SBS), there must be mixed reactions towards choice of female lead. Anyone/Cassies care to share their thoughts?

No more Super Concert?

Super Concert, which was set to see performing artistes like Dong Bang Shin Ki, Super Junior Happy, Jun Jin and Min Gyung Hoon, was announced canceled.

Super Concert was initially set to take place on 25th October at 6p, in Bu Cheon Stadium. However the concert was announced canceled just 1 day before the concert on 24th October.

With the abrupt cancellation of the concert, not much have been released from the concert sponsors other than that they are still looking into the situation. On the other hand, fans are also confused with the news and are demanding for clarification.

A similar case happened on 11th October where MBC canceled their 40th anniversary concert ‘2008 Big Music Festival’ on the day of the concert itself.

Super Junior’s Kangin and Heechul didn’t practiced hard enough?

SM Entertainment’s new muscial stars Super Junior’s Kangin and Heechul received the lowest grade of 25.2.
The muscial, played this year, ‘Xanadu’ was the product of the greatest musical stars, LeeGunSung JungSunAh KimSungGee HongJiMin YangGgotNim etc. Kangin and Heechul were chosen to be the male lead role Sonny, but they disappointed audiences with standards of Acting and Singing skill below expectancy level. Their dance received 6 points but the rest of the parts receive low points of 3~5.

A particular professional commented “Their singing, acting nor any other part looked uncompleted and unpracticed. To receive good star marketing effects, they should have practiced much more than they did otherwise the reason that a singer did this becomes pointless.”
